Staffordshire Figures

I began collecting Staffordshires when we moved to our first house and I had my own mantel piece. A pair of fine Spaniels came first, glaring out from either side of the fire. Next a couple of zebras, followed by two Dalmatians and various waifs and strays I picked up along the way.

I am particularly drawn to the amusing expressions of the figures, and I like to play with the characterful eyes in particular. I enjoy placing different figures beside each other or assembling family groups.
