Painted Plates

I love to paint plates against vivid patterned backgrounds which act as if table cloths. From my time working at the Ashmolean, I have developed an eye for ceramics from many different parts of the world. With these pieces I often like to include pieces from French Porcelain factories as well as blue and white Delft pieces.
