Little paintings

I came up with the little paintings series as a way of navigating by way around the uncertainties of the pandemic and lack of access to the post office - these pieces are typically only 8 x 5 cm. The small rectangles allow me to simplify my work and focus on just one subject, whether it be a vessel, dog or flower. My little boy was under one when I first started them and I found them an ideal nap time project. he is a bit bigger now but I continue to make these paintings to collect and treasure.
